Be Transformed
17 days ago I decided to embark on a detox journey. I’m on a weight release journey and I have a little over 100 pounds to release. I heard about the idea of doing a detox each year before your birthday, so with my birthday about 40 days away I decided that this would be a great time to jump in. My good friend and Holistic Health Educator Myra Harper introduced me to some of the things she learned about detoxing while studying at the Hippocrates Health Institue. So with her support, guidance, mouthwatering seasonings and Vegan dressings I started strong. Myra introduced me to the many ways that I could include more sprouts into my daily regime. Before this detox, I had no idea of the restorative power of sprouts. They are also very delicious! Each day I consume them along with a large selection of leafy greens like spinach, kale, and romaine lettuce and I must admit, most of the time I feel completely nourished. I have experienced increased energy throughout these past 2 weeks and my productivity has been really high due to this increased vitality. I won’t act as though this entire 17 day’s has been sprouted bliss, there have been some really rough times. The foodie within me was almost convinced that blue corn chips were haunting me. But I’ve pressed through, deciding to honor the higher self within that knows better. I am very happy that I was able to start this journey.Now on to the finish line. Peace
